New Broadcast Server powered by HARDATA

Newbury Park, CA (October 1, 2015) – 360 Systems, manufacturer of innovative video and audio broadcast products, formally announces its latest addition to the broadcast video server line, the VTH-2280.  In its continual efforts to provide products that surpass customer’s expectations for quality and price, 360 Systems has partnered with HARDATA, a premiere developer of video software and hardware solutions to jointly develop this new system.

“The new VTH-2280 broadcast video server is designed to meet the requirements of a wider range of broadcast professionals,” said Alan Jermagian, CEO for 360 Systems. “With two bi-directional channels and a full suite of features included at no extra cost, this new product will deliver unbeatable value to our customers.”

The VTH-2280 system will be available in the 4th quarter of 2015 and will feature the ability to input and output SD or HD content independently on either of its two channels, and will also feature the ability to work from either SDI or file based sources. A host of supported codecs and file formats also allows for better compatibility with a larger variety of NLE’s for those using file based workflows.

The built in automation software provides both record and playout scheduling, allowing for unattended use of the system without the need for costly external automation systems.  The system’s advanced graphics capabilities include the ability to build graphic elements for overlaying animations, text scrolls and other information from a variety of sources. The ability to insert live feeds and control graphic elements from within the playlist provides a simple to use, yet all encompassing solution.

The VTH-2280 will also up/down convert SD and HD files in real-time on the fly, allowing for use of HD and SD content in the same playlist.  It also scales 720p/1080i files to match the individual channel’s output setting, allowing interchangeable use of mixed HD file formats and resolutions. All of these features and many more come standard on all VTH class systems.
